Amazon To MS Excel Plugin
I’ve been working on a little side project this week while running the FBA business. I use MS Excel an awful lot to:
- Help manage my stock levels
- Workout what needs to be sent to Amazon
- Evaluate wholesale price lists
- Check the current BuyBox price, lowest FBA price, lowest MFN price etc..
- and more

Is this Excel Plugin currently available?
Thank you
Pete

Hi Krissy,
I haven’t done to much work on the plugin because to be honest there seemed to be very little interest in it from others. I continue to use it how it is but there are a few little bugs with it that I wouldn’t feel comfortable releasing it because of the extra support work I would have to do.
If there was more interest then I would put some more time and effort in but not right at this time.

Greatings Pete,
by looking at the other comments it seems that you no longer provide the plugin… but as I’m really interested, if you ever change your mind, I’d love to get it, even if it’s buggy 🙂
Thanks a lot !
Cheers

Plugin is limited to 10 rows ☹️Anyways we can get a full version??
Pete

Hey Rahul,
It isn’t limited to 10 rows, that’s a limitation Amazon puts on the MWS API call. The MWS API provided by amazon isn’t designed to bring back more than 10 search results. To do that you would need something that works off different Amazon API’s.

Dear Pete!
I use the plugin everyday, it’s awesome!
Is there a way I can get a review count for an ASIN, via the plugin?
Pete

Hi Eli, Amazon do not provide review information through their MWS API, sorry.

Hi Pete,
I’ve almost completely set up the excel plug in. After entering my Seller ID, AWS Access Key ID, Secret Key and Amazon Marketplace ID (A1F83G8C2ARO7P) and then clicking Validate I get the error message saying ”Amazon have not validated the Seller Id for the Amazon.com marketplace”
Any idea how I can get past this? What am I doing wrong do you think? Your advice would be really appreciated!
Kind Regards
Elliot

When the app produces an error at this stage it is 99.9% of the time a copy/paste error. Double check you have entered everything correctly. Make sure to remove any preceding and training spaces on each field.

Hi Pete, congratulations on the great addons for excel (from what I’ve seen in the video), but I have the same problem as the above companion, the error comes out “Amazon have not validated the Seller Id for the Amazon.com marketplace “, As you say, I have checked that there is no blank, I will generally use it for ES, FR, IT, DE, UK.
Can you tell me how to solve this problem? It took 4-5 days with this, and I do not know what to do anymore.
a greeting
Pete

This error is often caused by not having .NET 3.5 fully installed on your PC. I give a link to how to install .net 3.5 when you registered. Visit the link to ensure it is fully installed and try again.

Hello Pete,
the last three nights I was locking for a solution to receive mws data by using vba.
I receive data by https://mws-eu.amazonservices.com/scratchpad/index.html – no problem.
But using vba means at first to connect and send the datastream for the api (orders/listorders for example).
Your addin seems to have a solution for this. So could you please give me hint, how to this for my own.
best regards
Fabian

It took a lot of work to get it working for my own work but if you know VBA then just follow along with the MWS documentation to build you MWS API requests. It will take some trial and error but Amazon have documented everything you need.

Hi Pete, I have been using this Add-in and it is awesome, thank you. Is it possible to mask the Add-In License Key and the MWS keys and ID or password it? I intend to give a third party to use it for me but I’m scared they would have access to all the Access keys and IDs. Thank you
